Carlo Riva was the naval architect firm involved in the formal vessel plans for VESPUCCI. Carlo Riva is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. Built at CRN Yachts (Ferretti Group) the vessel was built in Italy. She was officially launched in Ancona in 1978 before being handed over to the owner. A moderate feeling is manifested with a maximum beam (width) of 6.7 m / 22 feet. With a 2.59m (8.5ft) draught (maximum depth) she is shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned from aluminium.
