Waly makes fast, stremlined, stylish sailing machines. The Tiketitan 88is no different. Tiketitan was the third wave of the “Wally revolution”, and was built on spec to test new ideas and solutions, following the Wally philosophy of trying everything out on the company's own products before applying them to a client's project. Tiketitan is the first large cruising yacht featuring the Wally hydraulic canting keel system and unique interior and deck layouts, together with a new system for the engine and generator exhausts. And as if the new technology wasn't enough, this innovative 88-foot (27-meter) sloop features elegant, simple, and beautiful hull and deck lines. Tiketitan combines aesthetics and innovation resulting fast and beautiful. Tiketitan's deck layout features a double cockpit: a traditional one forward the helmstation, and the Wally terrace on the sea on the open stern. Tiketitan easily reaches 11 knots of speed with 7 knots of true wind. The Wally hydraulic canting keel can swing up to 40 degrees to either side giving the yacht significantly more stability and lighter displacement. The console of Tiketitan features the Wally push buttons for the sails and the Wally canting keel, and the navigation instruments. Through the mirrored hatches, the main saloon of Tiketitan has a fantastic view of the sea outside. The Wally terrace on the sea can be accessed from the main salon inside and from the deck outside through two steps.
NOTE: Unfortunately Wally TIKETITAN is no longer in existence.

“You look around the market today and I would say that 95 per cent of yachts from 40 to 140 feet have copied Genie of the Lamp. That kind of layout, that kind of style and deck, it’s clear. I don’t think it’s too much to say that Genie has influenced the last 20 years.” - "Today, everyone has ‘invented’ the vertical bow. We didn’t invent it, it was invented in the 19th century, even before that, but when we introduced it in 2003, everyone was against it. Even the naval architects, they were saying, ‘no, this boat will have big problems’. And now everyone understands that there are a lot of advantages in having a vertical bow. And everyone is claiming they invented it!” - Luca Bassani, founder and president of Wally
