Custom built by established Maldivian ship builders and delivered in 2010, luxury motor yacht DUKE OF YORK measures 36m (118ft) in length. She offers accommodation for up to 23 charter guests in 10 deluxe en-suite cabins. M/Y DUKE OF YORK has a crew of 12. In addition, the yacht offers a traditional Dhoni yacht measuring 12.8m (42ft), perfect for diving, fishing and other water based excursions, this yacht has a crew of 3.

Crewed charter yacht DUKE OF YORK is a tri deck design, she offers ample interior and exterior areas to relax and unwind. The interiors are finished in warm woods with parquet flooring, plenty of natural light is received through the wide panoramic windows and ports. On the main deck, the salon boasts comfortable lounge seating, ottomans and an entertainment center. A wet bar is the perfect place to enjoy and evening aperitif, creating a social atmosphere.

Exterior living aboard the charter yacht DUKE OF YORK is generous. The main aft deck is shaded and boasts teak dining tables and chairs that can be separated or become one large banquet style table. Aft, an extended swim platform makes water access effortless. Wrap around decks lead to a spacious foredeck, complete with a large oversized seating area / sunpad and cocktails table.

Above the main deck, aft of the pilot house is the spa and 3 guest cabins, followed by an exterior lounge and chaise lounges. The top deck offers partial shade and ample further chaise lounges, also ideal for star gazing by night, for the romantics in the group.

The DUKE OF YORK motor yacht has a beam of 11m (36ft) and a draft of 3m (9.8ft). She is powered by a Daywood 600hp engine, with cruising speeds of 8 knots and top speeds of 12 knots. The additional Dhoni dive yacht offers a 60hp Yanmar engine and can take up to 22 guests, including 3 crew.

From July to December and from April to June yacht DUKE OF YORK is based in the central area of the Maldives to and from Male. From January to March the yacht is usually based to the extreme south of the Maldives, which can be reached via a 1 hour domestic flight.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

Luxury charter yacht DUKE OF YORK offers 10 en-suite cabins on 3 decks for up to 23 charter guests. The upper deck has 2 twin cabins, with side by side single beds and double cabin with a sofa that can convert into a single bed. These rooms boast optimum views and easy access to the upper aft sundeck. On the main deck, an aft cabin has 1 twin cabin, with side by side single beds. Below decks, 6 cabins offer 2 with a triple configuration, for up to 3 guests and 2 with twin beds and 2 with double beds. Each cabin offers individual air conditioning controls for ultimate comfort.

Charter Amenities and Extras

The Maldives DUKE OF YORK yacht is accompanied by a comfortable dhoni (local boat 18 mt)used for diving, snorkelling and fishing activities and to land on strips of sand and deserted islands and also a small tender with 4 horses power engine. On board is a small boutique with t-shirt and various kind of gadgets and book of Maldives. A workshop with dive and snorkelling gear for adult and kids. The comfortable dinette offer a fullscreen LCD TV, DVD,IPOD docking station, library ,3g modem WIFI and a large charging area for photographer. At the upper deck a large indoor SPA offer various ayurvedich treatment given by an Indian therapist. Marine electronics include a GPS ,VHF and the safe NAUTILUS radio for all our divers.
