The Channel Islands are an archipelago of British Crown Dependencies in the English Channel, off the French coast of Normandy. The main inhabited islands include Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm that make up the Channel Islands along with the smaller islands of Jethou, Brecqhou (Brechou) and Lihou. The picturesque Channel Islands are famous for providing an unexpected mix of dramatic scenery with rugged coastlines, idyllic white sand beaches and historic ports, rich heritage and rustic charm. The diverse islands feature both British and French influences and for longer charters, it is also possible to cruise further afield to the Brittany coast of France.
