What’s on board?
Enjoy relaxing in the neo classical styled lounge on high backed armchairs or sofas. Damask cushions match the décor perfectly as well as the gold onyx-topped coffee table. The stunning Casino Royale also has gold Bond girl statuettes in the saloon sitting on a mahogany bureau. This separates the lounge from the formal dining area and has high backed dining chairs in gold regency stripes. The table is glass topped, rectangular, with gold leaf bordering and gold legs. Chandeliers finish off this particular room which is bathed in natural light flooding through large windows. Watch the fabulous views out of the yacht’s low sills as you sail by rugged coastlines, hillsides and quaint villages.
From the main saloon, you’ll find the central lobby. Here there are more Bond girl statuettes etched into glass panels of the spiral stairway. LED lights enhance the images which look startling against the mahogany banisters and marble flooring. In hallways, paintings in red, orange and black are hung on the walls each representing hearts, clubs, diamonds or spades from playing cards.
Figurines in silver can also be seen in the central foyer depicting flapper girls from the 1920s. Glitz and glamour are the order of the day with a jaw-dropping glass elevator opposite the stairwell. Take the lift to all decks including the sun deck to enjoy a cocktail and soak up the sun, sounds heavenly!
The forward section of the main deck has a full-beam master suite. Exactly the type of suite James Bond would feel at home in. With its cream carpeting and Bond motifs, this room is out of this world. A king size bed is right in the middle with a glass headboard and mirrored ceiling. How about this for quirkiness? The flat screen TV is revealed when an oil painting rises, now that’s luxury. Look out to sea through an oval shaped port hole or relax on the ottoman reading a favourite novel.
If all of this splendour isn’t enough, there’s even more. The pale marble and pink onyx en suite with double steam shower and large spa tub, will delight. It also has a his and hers sink with natural light flowing in through the skylights. A bidet and head situated behind pinwheel etched glass, finish off this en suite bathroom.
Other Accommodation
Five state rooms complete the accommodation which can be found off a central corridor on the lower deck. A VIP suite bookends two double cabins amidships with two twin cabins forward. All of these cabins have high gloss mahogany walls with different coloured marble in the bathrooms. If you’re fortunate enough to stay in the VIP suite, the enormous en suite has an intriguing wall sculpture of two mermaids with mother-of-pearl tails. This spectacular sculpture is made from stainless steel, malachite and shell.
In the lower deck hallway, you’ll find a small kitchen where guests can help themselves to coffee or other drinks.
The mahogany panelled sky lounge is on the upper deck. This area is very spacious, bright, laid-back and informal in style. The sofa faces a square glass-topped coffee table where you can sit and chat or watch TV. It’s comfortable and cosy here, perfect to watch a movie in the evening.
