Fethiye to Marmaris - 6 Day Yacht Charter Itinerary

A 6-day private yacht charter itinerary visiting the finest spots in Fethiye, Rhodes and Marmaris.
Day 1:
Embarkation Gocek, Fethiye. Gocek is a small village in an idyllic setting, in the corner of a well protected bay with pine covered hills on the three sides. Overnight in Gocek one of the best sailing spots of the Mediterranean.
Day 2:
Departure from Sarsala Bay to Tersane island after breakfast, lunch at Bedri rahmi Bay and swimming break here. Tea-time at Batık hamam Bay, and departure for dinner and overnight to Aga Bay.
Day 3:
Gocek – Yassica Islands.
Sailing up to Kızılkuyruk bay after breakfast. Lunch in this wonderful area. Then directly to Cleopatra’s Bay and take a swim amongst the ruined monastery. Dinner and overnight in a bay amongst the islands of Göcek.The Göcek Bay Area boasts in the region of 200 coves and bays!
Yassıca Islands.
The islands called Yassıca Adaları which arouse interest because of their mysterious appearance and are favoured by yachts. Flat Islands are a group of islands very close to each other, located just at the opposite of the Gocek harbour. The property here, is the salty lake in the middle of the long sandy part of the biggest island in the group. This is also a charming place with the clear, dark blue, and very deep waters. It is easy to walk from the biggest island to the smallest (1.5m depth). On the biggest island, further to the north, there's a long, sandy beach leading to the lake. Swimming in Domuz Island, after lunch, dinner and overnight in Sarsala Bay.
Day 4:
Morning will meet riverboat cruise up the Dalyan Delta to see the rock tombs and Caunos which is wonderful ancient site. It does get hot so bring lots of sun crème and hats. When arrive back to yacht you will cruise to small bay moving towards the south when return late afternoon the yacht will set sail for another for the evening.
Ekincik Gulf.
You may join our optional Dalyan Tour from here. You will pass from natural beauty in through the delta by the river boat named as Piyade and arive to Dalyan which was founded by Miletos’ son and known as one of the Karia City. In adition to its ancient value with its Rock Tombs, Akropol Castle, Ancient Theater and Bazalica complex it display another natural beauty with Caretta- Caretta Turtles. Lunch will be in Caretta-Caretta restaurant in the reed with a view of Rock Tombs. After you will go to Mud Bath and Turtle Beach. Dinner and overnighting in Gulf of Ekincik.
Day 5:
Rhodes
Sailing to Rhodes early in the morning. Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese islands. The island is a very popular holiday place as it has one of the best-protected and the largest European Medieval city and has warm weather 300 days of a year. Rhodes has been a home for many civilizations; starting with the knights of St.John in the Middle Ages, then Ottomans and İtalians; thus the island has a unique historical harmony and beauty. The main port Rhodes is the Rhodes City which bears the same name with the island. The other very touristic areas of Rhodes island are; Lyndos and Kamiros. The city, which is still surrounded by 12meter-thick city-walls, gives you the feeling of travelling back to Medieval times especially when you walk around its narrow, stone-paved roads. After dinner, our guests are highly recommended to enjoy a Rhodes night out.
Day 6:
Symi
We will set sail for Symi Island early in the morning and arrive at the Monastry of Panormitis located in the southern part of Symi. It is possible to visit the Monastery and the Museum on this well-protected and peaceful bay. After having a swimming break on the eastern shores of the island we will anchor at the port early in the evening. You can see the shore-side with its neo-classical houses and the peripheral districts. You are going to adore Symi for its pine and oak forests and unique bays.
Bozburun is a small fishing town. This area was popular and suitable for sponge-diving but nowadays the people of the island are no more interested in sponge-diving as it is not financially beneficial and is dangerous. In recent years sponge-diving has been replaced by gulet tourism and nowadays Bozburun Gulets take their place in this sector.
Sail for Marmaris. Marmaris which has been under the governorship of so many different nationalities has been built upon the antique Karian city; Phyckos.The most valuable work-piece that you will see today is Marmaris Castle coming from 1577.T here is also a mosque from Ottomans and an 8-room caravansaray covered with arches.The ruins of the Antique times lies on Asar Hill; a short hill located on the northern side of the city.
Marmaris is one of the best-known touristic places of Turkey; has at he same time got a large marina.
