QUIN BISSET
Quin Bisset attended a film school in Canterbury and is originally from New Zealand. He has worked in the television industry in the commercial production part in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. After travelling through Africa and producing wild life documentaries, he moved on to work in feature films like “The Frighteners” with Peter Jackson. He also worked in Martin Campbell’s “Vertical Limit”. Moving to Europe came with working with famous film makers and directors like Anthony Minghella and Ridley Scott. He was involved in Cold Mountain and Black Hawk Down.
With his experience in aerial cinema Quin went back to New Zealand and was introduced to yachting during the Auckland America’s Cuyp. He combined his passion for action sport and videography then moved to London to continue his career. He now takes superb and fascinating photographs of superyachts all over the world for Superyacht Media.
One of his most iconic shots is a never-seen-before display of six of the largest Princess yachts off the coast of Cyprus. It’s a perfect shot with the Mediterranean sun sinking below the horizon with six magnificent superyachts in the foreground.
With over twelve years of experience in photographing superyachts he moved again to the south of France and created the company Q & K Media. His background in documentary filming, superyacht and video photography means he produces images and films straight from the heart. When he is not photographing he loves to sail and holds three world offshore sailing records. His other passions are mountain biking, surfing, snowboarding and travelling the world.
