Thailand
Phuket & Phang Nga Bay is one of the Asia's great scenic wonders. It covers an area of 400 sq km (154 sq miles) and consists of verdant limestone islands, some of which reach 300m (984ft) high.
The area is famous for its caves and aquatic grottoes. Apart from the occasional village, few of the islands are densely populated. The most famous of the islands in the bay are Ko Ping Kan (more commonly known as James Bond Island) and Koh Pannyi. The former featured in the James Bond movie 'The Man with the Golden Gun', whilst the latter, which literally means 'Sea Gypsy Island', is a village built out over the water on stilts, guarded by a giant rock monolith.
With Super Yacht Moecca you will discover the very best aspects of this area, with the ultimate in personalized service provided by an organization dedicated to the pursuit of perfection.
Please note the itinerary below are our suggested itinerary, however the choice of where to cruise, and for how long, is always tailored to your specific requirements.

The Ko Phi Phi Don area is supposed to have three of the most beautiful islands in the world, comprising Ko Phi Phi Don, Ko Phraya Nak and Ko Bida Nok. In fact, the movie starring Leonardo DiCapprio "The Beach" was filmed here. The setting won't disappoint, as the geology has this jagged, Jurassic feel, where you will see spectacular limestone cliffs and inlets with soaring eagles and sea birds and even wild monkeys that come down to the beach for a visit. The kayaking is also superb! Steam early morning before sunrise to Ko Lanta Yai

The east coast is more mountainous and covered with rainforest. In the south it ends at the Marine National Park. The highlighted spots of Koh Lanta are absolutely its wonderful beaches and crystal clear water, each of which has its characteristic beauty. The national park area with its' two curved, private beaches are simply wonderful, and well worth a visit, the Had Hin Ngam (a beautiful stone beach) and Tanod (Palm Beach). These two beaches stand on protected land, with no nearby resorts. The surrounding area is rich and diverse with amazing tropical nature, trekking and walking trail-ways and fantastic opportunities for bird and wild life watching. In Ko Lanta Yai we will steam the coast line during the day and stop at the beaches you find most interesting. In afternoon we stop at a sheltered bay in the Marine Park and stay overnight. Early morning before sunrise we steam for Ko Ha.

This is a must visit place for anglers wishing to target Sailfish, and the crystal clear 50 meter deep water is also home to many of the species that can be found. The water is so clear, that whilst snorkeling it is often possible to see many of the fish you perhaps are intending to catch. The highlight of diving here is a series of caves, or caverns on the largest of the islands, Koh Ha Yai. The emerald light filtering through the cave entrance at sunrise is quite magical. Try your fishing luck. In the afternoon we steam for Ko Muk (Emerald Cave) and drop anchor for the night.

Dense bush and rainforest cover most areas above the high-tide line while vast of mangroves and magnificent mile long white sand beaches are interspersed with rocky headlines, tidal creek and a few fresh water rivers. This is an incredibly extensive and beautiful archipelago, much of which has probably never been explored. The corals are reported to be in great condition with plenty of big fish, the crystal clear water, immaculate white sands and the rainforest right behind, they make the perfect picture for holiday dreams. Perfect for diving and February and March attracting whale sharks and manta rays. The people living on these islands are the Moken, sometimes known as the sea gypsies, they are a sea-dwelling people following a traditional way of life, doing things like fishing and building boats the way they have been doing for centuries. To cut a long story short: The islands and surrounding seas are alive with an amazing diversity of flora and fauna and very beautiful underwater scenes and marine life. Day 14 Phang Nga Bay
We will anchor near Ko Ya just north of Ko Panak in Phang Nga Bay. This area is where you will find at least 41 limestone rock formations, jutting from the sea and caused by a volcanic eruption. To navigate the shallow waters especially as you come near the estuaries you'll board a smaller boat to take you to the famous James Bond and surrounding islands, where you will see some of the most spectacular cliffs and caves along the shoreline. James Bond Island itself is an area where dozens of the traditional Thai Long Tail boats transport tourists' non-stop. A shore excursion to the island is necessary just to see the unique rock formations. The highlight of this area however is a trip to the local sea gypsy village Panyee, formed around 200 years ago and built on stilts over the water. Descendants of real sea gypsies further to the north who abandoned civilization to live on yachts, today the village has around 1,400 inhabitants. This excursion is followed by a ride into the estuaries to see the famous cliffs where the locals climb to extract the nests for bird's nest soup. Who knew that this soup is actually made from the bird's saliva that is used in creating their nests, and is what becomes the sweet delicacy that flavors this "fountain of youth" soup. Here we stay at anchor overnight.

Use this morning for relaxing, sunbathing or water sporting and after that we move back to Ao Po Marina. When it's time for departure, the limousines will bring you to the airport for your flight to your selected destination.
