Motor Yacht Anka, one of the most renowned of the Princess Yachts launched to date, is a highly-distinguished superyacht. At 40m (131’9” long) she has a beautiful and unique turquoise hull and an interesting hard top design. There’s a huge range of amenities on board too, which makes her great for charter, like her two folding balconies as well as a Jacuzzi on the sun deck. Interiors feature Fendi Casa furniture which is sophisticated, stylish and elegant. As soon as you board the Anka you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into paradise. With her three double, two convertible and two additional cabins, the latter having Pullman beds, Anka is definitely like a floating 5-star hotel. The two master cabins are bright, airy with huge windows that look out onto spectacular scenery.
Spacious decks and fabulous décor
The awe-inspiring Anka has huge decks, amazing décor and areas that will blow your mind. Wooden floorboards, light, airy open plan rooms and full length windows adorn this magnificent vessel everywhere you look. There’s a beautiful silver grey rug in the lounge along with two pale coloured sofas and matching chairs with foot rests. Relax or socialise here in total comfort. A circular coffee table made from polished striped wood finishes off this area elegantly.
Two hydraulic balconies can be found to starboard and port. With full length sliding glass doors there’s a sense of increased space in the lounge. This particular room also offers seclusion and privacy to maybe read a favourite novel or chat to fellow guests.
Dining areas
Fabulous décor carries on into the dining areas too. A formal dining room comprises a table and ten comfortable dining chairs. Two oak cabinets to starboard and port provide an eye-catching glimpse of what the Anka is all about, beauty and sophistication.
Feel quite at home on this marvellous superyacht where a moment spent looking out over the ocean is only ever a glance away. To starboard the dining area leads onto a marble floored main foyer. From this foyer, you can reach both the upper and lower decks using a central staircase. There’s also an entrance port side to the main saloon with access to the galley, just for the crew.
Sleeping accommodation
An office bookends a short corridor which also forms an entrance into the dazzling master suite. This suite takes up the entire forward section of the Anka. The bed lies in the centre of this cabin facing a widescreen TV sitting on an oak cabinet. Grained polished oak panels set off a large, pale coloured circular rug with furniture upholstered in pale gold and cream.
A narrow bulwark forms part of a vanity table which is behind the TV. Two comfortable armchairs and a coffee table provide a haven to relax while enjoying a freshly made coffee. Storage comprises two walk-in closets which are located to starboard and port. Forward there’s a stunning en suite decorated in cream coloured marble with contrasting earthy brown and chrome tiles. A large shower as well as his and hers sinks, a bath tub and head offer everything a guest will need while on board the Anka. Plenty of natural light shines through the rectangular skylight, making this space very appealing indeed.
The VIP suite, two convertible twin cabins and one double cabin can be found on the lower deck. The two twins are amidships and divided by a central corridor. The VIP suite stretches right across the full beam aft and includes a sofa, vanity area, walk-in wardrobe along with an en suite bathroom complete with bath tub. The double cabin also has a large en suite. Pale grey carpets have been fitted throughout the vessel creating a warm, ambient atmosphere.
Pure indulgence
On the upper deck, there’s a relaxing sky lounge also with wooden floorboards and huge windows. The L-shaped sofa is upholstered in soft, cream leather and provides a wonderful focal point. There are also two chairs with matching foot stools for guests to chill out on. The coffee table, cabinetry made from high-gloss dark wood and oak wall panelling finish off the sky lounge perfectly. Catch your favourite TV programme on the widescreen television or socialise with fellow guests sipping on a “shaken not stirred” cocktail.
Minimalistic in style, entertaining and relaxation areas ensure harmony between the interior and exterior spaces on the Anka. The main deck has a fixed sofa, movable armchairs and two square tables. Crew can serve a casual lunch or try one of the unique drinks from the bar. With its wraparound decks on this level, guests are able to make their way easily to the drop-down balconies or via a stairway situated on each side of the yacht. These stairs lead to the foredeck which is a fantastic place to catch the sun.
A table big enough to sit 12 people is situated in the centre of the upper deck aft. This deck is accessible from a staircase to port via the deck below. What a great place to enjoy al fresco dining prepared and cooked by the chef. There are also a couple of sun loungers here if you fancy a spot of sunbathing. Take in the panoramic views while being sheltered from any winds by a transparent bulwark.
There are no shortages of things to do while onboard Anka. The sun deck provides a great space for sunbathing as well as outdoor living. Want to cool down? Take a dip in the six person Jacuzzi situated on this deck or have a swim in the spa pool. Forward of the pool is an entertainment area with a bar and two sofas. Have a romantic tete-a-tete with your loved one or just breathe in the fresh sea air while sailing out on the ocean, what freedom!
More deck space plus water toys!
The Anka is truly a versatile superyacht. With her electronically operated sliding Bimini, this huge area can be shaded from the sun quite easily. A beach club is also situated on deck. It has a drawbridge-style transom door that can be lowered to make a waterside terrace. Why not relax here before taking a dip in the sea?
Enjoy thrills and spills? The water toys on the Anka definitely won’t disappoint. There’s a huge choice of toys to have some action above and below the water. The swim platform is ideal for getting on the jet skis, stand up paddleboards, water skis or water scooters. Towable toys make for a fantastic day out on the ocean waves while for snorkellers or those who like to fish, there’s plenty of gear available. In the stern garage a 6.2m tender and two personal water craft are housed. This will give you some idea of how enormous the Anka really is.
