Bloemsma Van Breemen has successfully completed major projects consisting of the construction of numerous classic sailing yachts by Hoek Design. This major yacht construction project by Bloemsma Van Breemen included the 74-foot sailing yacht Copihue and 80-footer Mulligan yacht. The company has increased its Bloemsma Van Breemen yacht production capacity with the construction of 2 additional halls in its shipyard in 2000. With this major expansion, Bloemsma Van Breemen can now handle bigger projects involving the construction of megayachts and superyachts with LOAs up to 65 metres. The total production area of the shipyard is pegged at 20,000 square metres, and of this total area, 5,700 square metres account for the production sheds of the facility. The company has also deployed several innovative production techniques and advanced applications and technology to harness the full potential of its sprawling yacht building facility. Other major yacht construction projects of the company include the classic 90-footer motoryacht designed by De Vries Lentsch, the 70-footer Ginton luxury yacht and the 134-footer sailing yacht VALQUEST which was designed by Dubois.

Notable Yacht Construction Projects by Bloemsma Van Breemen

One of the major milestones of Bloemsma Van Breemen was the 2009 launch of Valquest superyacht, a 41-metre fast cruiser that was designed by Ed Dubois. This elegant superyacht boasts of sleek design, a wheelhouse with distinctively low profile, a metallic hull and an exquisite deck layout and design that combine contemporary elements with classic designs.

The company had to implement a major dredging activity along the section of the waterway linking the shipyard to the sea. This high-end superyacht has an 8.9 metre high beam and 4.15-metre draught.

The company has also successfully completed the construction and launch of two high performance superyachts. The 134-footer sailing yacht designed by Ed Dubois and the 144-footer motoryacht BVB44M designed by Pieter Beelsnijder. These high-end yachts are compliant of the standards set by MCA and Lloyds Register Classification.
