DEA DEL MARE GULET YACHT REVIEW
Make every day a brand new adventure along the Turquoise Coast in the Turkey yacht charter grounds with 27m/88ft luxury gulet DEA DEL MARE. Traditional-style interiors, contemporary living standards and modern entertainment come together for the very best cruising experience, whether out amongst uninhabited islands or right beside ancient cities and their wonders.
The interiors
The outer appearance of DEA DEL MAR inly hints at the beautiful carpentry which makes up the interiors: Rich wooden panelling expertly crafted and joined, matching teak flooring and plush furnishings throughout in cream. Classic styling in the wall sconces and artwork create an atmosphere of yesteryear, however the widescreen TV and sound systems add some modern entertainments to pass the time in transit. The C-shaped sofa and table will seat the whole group to a delicious professionally prepared meal, and it's a great place for board games with the family in a quiet cove before heading outside to stargaze under perfectly dark skies.
The exteriors
The outdoor areas are a terrific place for the group to gather and savour fine dining at sunset, with a bar on the main deck aft to provide a variety of refreshments to guests. The elegant formal dining area seats 10 with sweeping views of the surroundings, while the stern section is fitted with a deep sunbed for everyone to rest in the sunshine after a large lunch. The whole area can be shaded by a canvas bimini to keep off light rain or sunshine in the peak afternoon hours.
The foredeck has room for even more sunbeds, which can be removed so that guests can use the space for early morning yoga or other outdoor exercise.
The water toys
The coach roof and foredeck provide abundant space for storing tenders and water toys, and guests aboard S/Y DEA DEL MARE have at their fingertips a canoe, knee board, water skis and snorkelling equipment, plus additional toys that can be provided on request to further personalise the charter.
Kaş is known as a haven for snorkelling sites, while the islands and coast from here to Bodrum offers plenty of chances to zip through the water on the water skis or spend a lazy afternoon beside golden shores.
The accommodation
After a satisfying day enjoying the best that the Turkish Riviera has to offer, guests will return to the atmospheric accommodation which provides 5 en-suite cabins for up to 10 guests: 2 Master suites, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin convertible to a double.
The first Master suite uses the full beam to add a sofa to the interior, as well as the typical offerings of a desk/vanity, widescreen TV, plenty of storage space and a tiled en-suite bathroom reminiscent of a hammam which comes fitted with a sink, toilet and a shower.
The second Master suite can be found in the bow area, and treats its occupants to a setup similar to the first Master suite. This arrangement is ideal for multi-generational families, and the rest of the guest accommodation is well-proportioned to satisfy the comfort of every guest.
The double cabins each have a double bed, TV entertainment, storage and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.
The twin cabin has a similar setup, only the two single beds can come together to make a double bed, providing flexibility for different charter groups.
S/Y DEA DEL MAR can be found cruising in the Eastern Mediterranean charter grounds between Greece and Turkey - consider her beautiful timeless interiors and abundant outdoor space for your group for your next occasion.
