HIC SALTA GULET YACHT REVIEW

Luxury gulet HIC SALTA is one of the stars of the Eastern Mediterranean charter grounds, providing a traditional setting and top quality modern technology, great accommodation for 10 guests across five en-suite cabins who are all served by an experienced crew of seven. She comes with a wonderful collection of water toys and plenty of sunbathing spaces to make the most of the Turkish Riviera and the stunning island beaches scattered throughout the Mediterranean Sea.

The Interiors

The moment you step into the rich mahogany interiors you'll be keenly aware of the fine craftsmanship that went into her impressive 2017 refit, where a traditional appearance has been updated for the 21st Century. In amongst classic accents such as the wall sconces and white-painted ceiling are top quality audio-visual entertainment systems, such as the pop-up widescreen TV concealed at one end of the C-shaped sofa with table for effortless dining. Opposite, the large bar has everything you desire to start off a celebration and keep it thriving long into the night.

The Exteriors

The exterior appearance of S/Y HIC SALTA is a traditional one, though benefitting from all the modern techniques and technologies to create a sturdy wooden vessel that maximises space on board. The covered aft section has a curving sofa along the stern and an elevated oval table for elegant alfresco dining, and spotlights above ensure that there is plenty of light after sundown. There is a cosy corner sofa with a table to rest books or a colourful cocktail while guests admire the passing scenery on a cruise to the next location.

The stern comes fitted with two double sunbeds, and under the sails on the sun-exposed foredeck, there are plenty more double sunbeds for the whole group to relax together following a large lunch and fun on the water toys. The bow section has another curving sofa and table for resting outdoors in the sunshine in comfort.

The Water Toys

The Turkish Riviera shares the same crystal clear waters as the Greek Dodecanese and Cyclades Islands, and guests aboard S/Y HIC SALTA can enjoy endless days in the sunshine playing on the following great water toys*:

• fishing gear, and
• inflatable and towable toys

The Accommodation

The rich mahogany interiors continue through to the guest accommodation, which is forward and aft of the salon and designed to sleep up to 10 guests across 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms and 2 twin cabins.

The Master suite is the most desirable, placed in the stern to make use of the beam for a larger bedroom. There is a king-sized bed within, plus TV entertainment, a sofa, desk/vanity and an en-suite bathroom with two sinks, a toilet and a shower.



 

The VIP staterooms both have a similar setup but on a smaller scale, and the en-suite bathrooms have spa tubs for that added bit of luxury. The twin cabins are also ample in space and furnished with two single beds, a desk/vanity and wardrobe, with the en-suite bathroom containing a sink, toilet and shower.

All guests have the benefit of air conditioning for the utmost comfort; as soon as heads touch the pillows both adults and children will drift off to sleep.
