Comfort and functionality

No matter where your superyacht is heading, expect comfort at every turn. O’Mega is 82.5m (270’6”) in length and was converted from a small cruise ship into one of the largest yachts in the charter world. She is elegant, grand and impressive. Indulge yourself on board with fantastic amenities, plenty of lounging areas, bars and of course exciting nightlife.

O’Mega was built in 1985 in Japan by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and converted into a superyacht during 2002-2003. Georgio Vafiadis was responsible for the new design where the bow and superstructure were remodelled. The main deck was removed and replaced with an aluminium alloy deck, strong enough to take on the saloon and state rooms. In 2011, she had another re-fit that included the hull colour being changed from navy blue to pure white.

She is a sea-going vessel that represents high standards in yachting as well as enjoying the naval architecture her Japanese builders intended. For a smooth voyage and lots of fun, O’Mega is certainly a superyacht that promises to deliver. With enormous outdoor recreational decks and many places to sit in the sun, you can have the best of both worlds.

Main deck

On this deck, other areas flow smoothly into the next. The main saloon is accessed through sliding doors to the exterior main aft deck. Here there is gorgeous covered seating, sofas and tables, ideal to meet up with friends old and new. Soft cream and brown décor with touches of gold make this space relaxing and timeless.

A formal dining area leads from the main saloon where mouth-watering meals are served by three professional chefs. The four round tables seat eight guests comfortably or can be joined with leaves to create two rectangular tables that seat 18 people.

The spectacular marble floored foyer is where you can access the six decks of this stunning vessel. A stylish staircase creates a centrepiece here with its air of opulence and magnificence. This luxury charter yacht oozes charm everywhere you look. The glossy mahogany panelling enhances the fine furnishings, custom-made carpets, linens and the awesome antiques.

State rooms and cabins

All fourteen beautiful state rooms have en suite bathrooms decorated in yellow and white onyx. There’s one master suite, one executive cabin, five double guest cabins, three twin guest cabins and four double VIP suites. State rooms and cabins have flat screen TVs, sound systems, WiFi and state-of-the-art entertainment systems.

After a day of activities, the accommodation is a haven to retreat to. Kick off your shoes, take a shower and chill out until it’s time to prepare for the evening’s activities.

Water sports

O’Mega’s experienced crew are always on hand if you need assistance with any of the water toys available. Why not try snorkelling, scuba diving, jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking or fishing? There’s an extendable swim platform which gives easy access to any of the water sports or it can be used as a private swimming area.

For guests who like to stay fit while on vacation, check out the fitness and health care services. A personal trainer, yoga and Pilates instructor can take you through a range of exercises or if you prefer, have a work out in the fully-equipped gymnasium. If you’ve been out in the sun all day, take a dip in the Jacuzzi with a glass of champers. Why not pop into the cinema room that has a 65” screen to watch your favourite movie?
