In Review: Motor Yacht PURA VIDA

Launched in 2009 at Moonen Shipyard in the Netherlands, the 30.12m/98ft luxury motor yacht PURA VIDA is a successful charter boat that has made every previous guest fall in love with the concept of yacht charter vacations.

Plenty of room to sunbathe in style

The flybridge shaded area hosts the alfresco dining spot with a C-shape sofa, a teak dining table and three chairs, and large sun pads for seating/lazing next to the wet bar. Forward of the dining area, there are two pilot chairs and entrance to the bridge. Behind the bar and dining spot is the airy seating and sunbathing area fitted with loose furniture and sun loungers.

The walk-around leads to the foredeck, which is occupied by the lovely sunbathing area with soft cushions, sun pads, and seating. The optional shade is perfect for those who want to enjoy a cooler space and still enjoy the light sea breeze.

The main deck aft offers the outdoor dining area for up to eight persons with a bar - ideal for casual gatherings or special events. From here, guests can access the swim platform, available for easy boarding of water toys and diving into the water.

Inviting atmosphere

Styled with wooden furniture and decor elements, the interior features soft creamy, beige, and light blue tones.

Large windows allow lots of light indoors, while the lighting creates a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The main deck salon offers an ample lounge with a chaise sofa, armchair, and a coffee table. Forward of the salon is the formal dining area with seating for up to eight guests.

A selection of board games includes Jenga, 5-second rule, taboo, Bananagrams, Five Crowns, and many others. The audio/visual entertainment system includes surround sound, DirectTV, and iPod docking station.

Luxurious Accommodation

The accommodation is provided for up to eight guests across four cabins: two double and two twin. The lower deck forward is occupied by the master suite with a king-size bed, vanity, and a loveseat. Behind the master suite are two twin cabins, each with an ensuite. The VIP cabin is placed amidships and features a queen-size bed.

Same as the other interior living spaces, all cabins benefit from wooden furnishing, soft fabrics, and calming neutral colour pallet. Each cabin has an ensuite with Molton Brown toiletries, plush robes and marble top vanities.

On the stern is the crew quarters which allow for four staff.

Excellent service

Eight guests aboard PURA VIDA are looked after by the professional crew of 4. Captain Andy Barton has been running fantastic yacht charters for over 14 years and knows how to make sure every guest's experience onboard is unforgettable. Professional chef Cameron Carr prepares meals influenced by locations and creates truly amazing culinary delights. Richel Santos is the stewardess, and she prioritizes exceeding guests' expectations. At the same time, Stefan Najbicz, deck engineer, will ensure a safe and fun water sports environment for both children and adults.

The array of water toys

Among PURA VIDA's water toys are a jet ski, 2 Stand-up paddleboards, 2-person kayak, towables, water skis, two seabobs, snorkel gear, and Scuba compressor and gear for certified divers.

There are two tenders available during a charter. 9.75m/32ft Scout towed tender with twin 300hp. It's fully equipped with deep-sea fishing gear, comfortable bow seating with table, day head, custom dive door, and fusion radio with JL audio speakers. 17ft AB DLX inflatable tender with Fusion Radio, JL audio speakers, and swim ladder.

Charter yacht PURA VIDA can reach a top speed of 20 knots and offers exceptionally smooth cruising with vibration-free comfort levels and performance.
