Constructed by Vuyk en Zonen in 2005, she received a comprehensive refit in 2018 from Icon Yachts that has brought her back to as-new condition. Her desirable contemporary interiors come from Verkerk Yachting Projects, with warm striated wooden panelling contrasted by plain cream furnishings and accent colours in the various rooms.

Lavish dining

Without a doubt the formal dining area is one of the hallmark features of luxury yacht SHERAKHAN: Placed on the bottom level of a two-tier, 7m/22.9ft-high atrium, the table extends along a great portion of the room for up to 24 guests. Contemporary lighting is amplified by the glass balustrades and staircases, while portholes allow for natural lighting and views of the location. A bar is placed in the connecting aft salon and guests can be serenaded with live music as they dine or engage in after-dinner conversation.

The upper deck provides a second bar and seating is spaced along the walls for more intimate conversation while remaining close to the main group, and the wide open doors to the exterior will give a burst of fresh air and added ambiance to the gathering.

Alfresco dining is to be found on the main deck aft with three circular tables for more intimate meals, and plenty of shade from the upper deck for dining in comfort at the height of the day.

Outdoor opulence

Guests will never want for anything with the crew of 19 on hand for first-class service day or night, partying on the sundeck or making use of the sun loungers spread from the forward section to the area amidships. In the centre of the sundeck is the inviting 18-person Jacuzzi, were guests can savour the sunlight shining down through a cut-out section in the canvas above.

Once clear of tenders and water toys, the foredeck offers a second place for guests to lay out in the sun and it is from here that the 8m/26ft water slide descends swiftly into the sea.

Quiet contemplation

From the bustling and cheery port towns and cities to the far-flung beaches and dive sites, the Caribbean and Bahamas offer so many sensory delights that guests will want to recharge between experiences. For this purpose luxury yacht SHERAKHAN comes equipped with a library, a lower deck gym and spa with a Jacuzzi, an upper deck lounge and lower deck lounge with bar.

The spa centre has an impressive mosaic mural and colourful lighting to set a peaceful tone, where guests can receive treatments to prepare for a glamorous occasion.
In addition to the spa centre there is a steam room, and massage room where the qualified massage therapist is able to provide a range of treatments for sports-focused individuals or those seeking perfect serenity away from the bustle of the main group.

Spacious accommodation for all guests

The 13 cabins are generously large for all guests and provide 1 Master suite, 5 VIP staterooms, 1 double cabin and 6 twin cabins, four of which are convertible to doubles. There is also a twin bunk cabin ideal for children.

Each cabin either has large square windows or portholes that provide plenty of natural light, and in addition to the sumptuous beds there are plush armchairs, a coffee table and a widescreen TV hidden away in the cabinetry for relaxation at the end of a busy day.

The Master suite on the upper deck has the additional benefits of a larger lounge, a Jacuzzi and a private office that can be used as an additional cabin.

The en-suite bathrooms have each been personalised with a different tiling pattern in each. They all come fitted with a toilet, bidet, two sinks, a shower and a bathtub where guests can unwind at their leisure and rinse out the fine white sands from the beaches of Anguilla or the Turks & Caicos Islands.
