CAPTAIN - Paul Deeth, British,

Paul was born in Antigua and schooled in the UK. He literally grew up on the water with small sail and power boats. Holidays’ spent cruising various parts of the globe on the family’s sailing yacht.
Paul has 30 years experience in yachting in all types of sail and motor yachts up to 75 metres. He has over 400,000 miles of sailing experience having circumnavigated the world twice and visited most places in between. He is a natural explorer and a keen diver and enjoys sharing his passion of the sea with guests.

CAPTAIN - Jason Truman, Welsh

Jason was born and raised in the seaside town of Tenby, South West Wales. He has been working boats since he was 15, as s deckhand on the local passenger boats. He skippered his first boat when he was 18. In 1994 Jason moved into the super yacht industry working on 3 Masted schooner SY Creole, 70 Metre MY Coral Island and many others. Jason has worked with Paul Deeth since 2000 on a number of yachts as chief officer and captain. His interests are travelling, fishing, diving and photography.

FIRST MATE- Keiren Andrews, New Zealander,

Keiren is from a beach town called Tauranga, around 2 hours south east of Auckland. He is an avid water-sports enthusiast, with a huge base of experience to draw upon. Willing to pass on his knowledge and teach anything from wakeboarding to free-diving, surfing and spear-fishing. He regularly takes part in competitive spear-fishing competitions worldwide. Other interests include fishing, surfing, diving, hunting, photography, archery, shooting, snowboarding and wake boarding.

ENGINEER - Kris Blenkiron, New Zealander, Engineer

Kris was brought up on the Kapiti Coastline on south the North Island of New Zealand. Kris joined the Navy after leaving school, where he completed an apprenticeship as a marine engineer. Kris travelled the world in this capacity and gained invaluable experience, after 8 years Kris left the Navy in search of a new challenge. After some time spent in London and snowboarding his way around the Canadian mountains, Kris returned to the sea as an Engineer on private yachts. His other interests include surfing, fishing and diving. Pretty much any sport that involves the ocean or a board!

DECKHAND - Brad Price, New Zealander, 

Brad is also from the coastal town of Tauranga. He took a keen interest in the ocean early on which led him to want to be a Padi Dive instructor. After training in this capacity he has worked in Cairns, Australia for a number of years, as an experienced instructor who takes pride in his knowledge of the ocean and diving. He first started yachting on a crossing from the UK to Antigua, where he was asked to join the crew of MV Absinthe. He gained valuable experience onboard, whilst seeing the Mediterranean coastline and now is ready for another challenge in a different part of the worlds’ ocean. Other interests include surfing, fishing and socialising with friends.

CHEF - Penelope Strickland, New Zealander,Chef

Penelope was raised in Devonport, Auckland. She spent her teenage years training and competing as a New Zealand representative at international level in swimming. This brought her to be selected for Stanford University’s diet trial for Elite swimmers, now known as the “Zone” diet. Cooking during this trial sparked her interest and passion for cooking and food. Penelope has worked and trained in restaurants and yachting since 1999. She gained a Grand Diploma in Royal Thai cooking in 2008. Penelope also loves travel, reading, keeping fit and running every day.

HEAD STEWARD/PURSER - Annalise Brain, English/Irish

Annalise was born in Oxford and brought up on the South west coastline of Wales. She attended secondary school in Dublin, before embarking on her career in Hospitality in London at 18. She gained a Diploma in Food and Wine and Hospitality management before moving on to be a Restaurant Manager. Her first yachting experience at 22 sparked her interest in the Industry, since then she has worked between yachts, cooking and restaurants. After completing 3 Mediterranean and 2 Caribbean seasons she is now excited at the prospect of seeing a different part of the world and is hoping to gain more confidence and experience in diving. Her other keen interests include snowboarding, horse riding, keeping fit and reading.

STEWARDESS - Sarah McCowan, New Zealander, Stewardess

Sarah was born and grew up in New Zealand; family holidays included many trips on our small launch which introduced me to boating and where she first gained an interest.
Sarah decided to couple her love of the sea and travel with her many years of experience in the Hospitality Industry in the capacity of Front of House and Event Management, which led her to the exciting job of Yacht Stewardess. Since then Sarah has worked in the Mediterranean, travelling Italian waters and the French Riviera.Sarah is also a keen cook and likes a challenge in the kitchen! As well as keeping fit listening to musicians from New Zealand!
