Superyachts are someone’s dream, someone’s hobby, a lifestyle or passion. There are more than 10,000 superyachts in different locations, from the South Pole to the tropical islands and warm waters of the Mediterranean. They all look so different, each of them has her own style, charm and a beautiful name. Here are 10 superyachts spotted by photographers and travellers around the world.

1. Here Comes the Sun in Guernsey, UK

Here Comes The Sun has recently undergone her sea trials and has been delivered to her owner. She is now making her way to her first vacation. She is the largest yacht ever built by Amels.

2. Serene in Malta

Serene is an impressive mega yacht. Measuring 134 metres she is designed to take her owner anywhere in the world in absolute comfort and safety. She is the 14th largest yacht in the world.

3. Ilona at West India Dock, UK

This 74-metres yacht was built by Amels in 2004, while her interior and exterior is a fantastic work of Redman Whiteley Dixon. Ilona is able to accommodate 16 guests assisted by 28 crew members.

4.Yas at Abu Dhabi port Mina Zayed

Mega yacht Yas in the 10th largest yacht. This 144-metre vessel was launched in 2011 by Abu Dhabi’s ADM Shipyards. Her strikingly graceful exterior features fluid curves and volumes, as well as an excellent structural covering of glass.

5. Superyacht Topaz in Tarragona, Spain

Motor yacht Topaz measures 147 metres, which secures her a position on the list of the top 10 longest yachts. Her superb exterior design is by bespoke Tim Heywood. Another famous designer Terence Disdale developed her interior design.

6. Maltese Falcon in Chania, Crete

One of the best sailing yachts in the world, Maltese Falcon definitely deserve the of “the best sailing yacht for charter“. Exterior design of this yacht is a work of the world-renowned shipbuilder Perini Navi. Maltese Falcon’s interior is luxurious with a rich contemporary décor, delightful to the eye and soothing to the soul.

7. Quattroelle in Dubai

Lurssen superyacht Quattroelle was launched in 2012. Among special features of the 88m megayacht (also known as Project Bellissimo) belong a hell pad, large gymnasium, spa/salon, cinema, art gallery, an eight-person Spa Pool as well as a direct positioning system.

8. Skat in Fort Lauderdale

Another beautiful yacht by Lurssen, Skat is a 70.70-metre vessel. This project was developed by  a team of experts in the yachting industry: her exterior is by Espen Oeino and interior is a work of the Italian designer Marco Zanini.

Motor yacht Elysian (ex. Elandess) is a 60-metre vessel built by Abeking and Rasmussen in 2009. She was refitted in 2012, and features contemporary interior design, spacious outdoor living areas. Elysian offers plenty of room for relaxation and entertainment.

10. Lady L in Nassau, Bahamas

Heesen superyacht Lady L is a 44 metre yacht from the popular Heesen 4400 aluminium series. She features an elegant exterior design, with soft lines and stunning black hull. Her interior is truly luxurious, and was developed by Omega Architects.
