With the end of September comes the end of the summer yacht season, marked by the spectacular Monaco Yacht Show where renowned yacht builders from across the world gather to display their latest and greatest luxury yacht builds.
Preliminary attendance has been announced and among the 125 unique superyachts are some of the most impressive and closely guarded builds of 2017: Both sailing yachts and motor yachts will be present at the Port Hercules event, and these top 10 luxury yachts over 30m/98ft are some of the most anticipated in recent years:
1. Andiamo – Baglietto
48m/157ft motor yacht ANDIAMO was launched in June and built for a Mexican owner and features the architecture of Margherita Casprini and an interior and exterior from Francesco Paszkowski Design.
Of the 350m² living spaces on board, the sundeck comprises an impressive 140m² with an infinity pool, an alfresco dining area serviced by a barbeque grill and bar, plus plenty of forward sunbathing.
The interiors are styled in lacquered ebony and onyx for a truly opulent environment, within which there is a cinema on the upper deck with two side terraces for spectacular views and increased indoor-outdoor flow.
2. Nerissa – Bilgin Yachts
The first hull in the Bilgin 156 series from Bilgin Yachts, superyacht NERISSA has a full-displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure and was completed following 23 months of construction. This 48m/156ft tri-deck yacht features the naval architecture of Unique Yacht Design and the interior styling talents of H2 Yacht Design.
Luxury yacht NERISSA does not yet have an owner and will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show to the press and to potential buyers.
3. Areti – Lurssen
Known as PROJECT SASHA up until her launch, 85m/280ft luxury yacht ARETI has been one of Lurssen‘s most secretive builds and features an interior and exterior by Winch Design.
