Sensational 109m superyacht BRAVO EUGENIA, launched in November 2018 at Oceanco shipyard, has received the first ever La Belle Classe Explorer Award presented by the Yacht Club of Monaco.
Lateral Naval Architects created the naval architecture of the yacht, while the exterior design comes courtesy of Nuvolari Lenard. Reymond Langton Design collaborated with Oceanco to design the interiors.
M/Y BRAVO EUGENIA stands out from the crowd for a few reasons: she is the first Oceanco LIFE-designed yacht and features fuel-efficient hull design and eco-friendly technology, as well as a single tire engine room – very unusual in large yachts. Her hybrid propulsion system uses the state-of-the-art technologies and takes advantage of the hydrodynamic efficiency, new heat and energy-recovery systems, and integrated battery systems to allow for optimal operation while underway and at anchor.
She uses 27% less fuel than other yachts in her range and features an exclusive “whisper mode” to ensure surrounding yachts are not disturbed when entering and exiting ports.
“We are honored to receive such a prestigious award. The opportunity for our entire family to work alongside Oceanco in seeing this project to fruition has been an unparalleled experience in innovation and design,” said Gene Jones, the yacht’s owner.
