The bespoke Milan-based design studio, Hot Lab yacht & design, is thrilled to introduce their all-new motor yacht “Primadonna”, coded DP028. Luxury mega yacht “Primadonna” is an impressive 110m (360’9”) superyacht concept, based on the reputable Oceanco hull platform.

Despite the Primadonna yacht’s generous dimensions, her lines have been designed to express a visual sense of lightness which is also underlined by darkened glazing clearly defining each deck level and giving a lengthening effect rather than heightening the profile. The interplay of empty and filled spaces optimizes the introduction of large windows, often full height, and reduces the visual impact of the significant volumes.
The aesthetic of the stern area is low and sleek; a beach area has been developed around a swimming pool on the aft main deck with a cascade waterfall that spills over the end wall into a whirlpool on the aft lower deck. This whirlpool can be used all year around as it is surrounded by sliding glass panels.
Guests can access the sea from the pool area by using the symmetrical staircase covered with teak panelling. Under the main deck pool area is the spa area/beach club that opens up on the two sides, enabling guests to enjoy easy access to the sea.

The upper deck and owner’s deck are visually linked by bold external arches that add an imposing graphic effect, while also tricking the eye into believing that two deck levels are in fact one and providing the vast Owner’s suite with abundant natural light. The owner could arrive by helicopter using the touch-and-go pad on the upper deck bow area and walk straight into the lower level of the suite – without passing through any guest areas.
Guests can enjoy the relaxing lounge and bar area with panoramic views; adjacent to this lounge bar area is an open gym area and whirlpool. The elegant and sleek Primadonna yacht with one Owner’s suite with private deck, six VIP cabins and two guest cabins can accommodate up to 18 guests and 40 crew & staff.
Stunning lines and striking volumes already characterise the new Oceanco Primadonna superyacht concept, and she no doubt will make heads turn wherever she cruises.
The 1:50 scale model of the beautiful Primadonna yacht project will be displayed on the Oceanco stand QT7 on the T-jetty during the Monaco Yacht Show, from 24 to 27 September 2014.
