The Italian design studio Officina Armare has presented the new 110m/360ft concept PROJECT CENTAURO. The yacht boasts a futuristic exterior profile, which is not only trending but also takes inspiration from spacecraft. Her bold exterior lines and dark hull and superstructure create, you might say, a sporty look, but the design studio calls it a “Starship.”
While providing ultimate comfort onboard, the exterior areas are not compromised and well protected. The deck forward hosts a helipad, which provides smooth take-off and landing options for those who wish to explore more than just cruising grounds.
Located on the lower deck, a cinema theatre is just one of many luxury amenities on board. The fold-down terrace on the same deck forward provides picturesque views of the surroundings and opportunities to enjoy the water. As for relaxation and entertainment, a gymnasium, massage room, a vast spa area with sauna and hammam, as well as a spacious outdoor area, would definitely make one’s experience on this yacht unforgettable.
Based on the initial design, the aft bridge and top deck are dedicated to the owner’s use. The top deck, however, serves as the entertainment hub accessible by everyone on the boat. It hosts a Jacuzzi and an observation lounge.
Two 10-meter tenders are carried in two tender garages on each side. There is also plenty of storage room for water toys and a submarine.
Accommodation is offered for 12 guests who can be looked after by a crew of 38.
PROJECT CENTAURO is designed to reach a top speed of 20 knots, which is generated by two MTU engines.
One of the latest design concepts by Officina Armare includes the ultra-cool Lamborghini-inspired luxury day cruiser A43.
