Rob Doyle Design has revealed their latest 120ft/36m sailing yacht ‘Café Racer’ concept, aimed at the ever expanding enjoyment of Bucket competing. The term ‘Café Racer’ derives from motorcycles modified for speed rather than comfort. The same concept has been applied to the new 120ft Rob Doyle ‘Bucket Racer’ superyacht to give her high levels of performance, while keeping the interior clean, simple and without the extreme weight penalty that the current crop of bucket yachts carry.
Featuring a high tech composite hull, powerful hull lines harness the power of a very effective and easy to handle sail plan. The sleek clean deck appearance with retro classic styling cues gives a fresh view of a high performance Bucket Racer.
The 120ft Rob Doyle yacht concept boasts the latest in hull shapes and appendages package but is designed mindful of the need to be a good all-rounder with ease of use for friends and family. With the addition of twin rudders, power and controls are beautifully balanced, allowing the owner to really lean on this yacht to produce blistering results. The design is built on 20 years of experience in the field of large yachts offering performance and safety.
