The 120 m (393.70 ft) motor yacht project called PA 122 is mega yacht to be built by Oceanco featuring design and styling by Nuvolari & Lenard. The Oceanco PA122 motor yacht features a steel hull an angular aluminium superstructure. Her lines are memorable and look somewhat futuristic.
The PA 122 yacht offers an innovative design, with environmentally smart engineering, and the very latest advanced technologies including an electric diesel hybrid propulsion system. The PA 122 superyacht will offer Oceanco’s stylish designs, classic interior beauty, large decks with wide, open spaces and a swimming pool.
To aft of the PA 122 motor yacht’s angular superstructure there is an exterior glass elevator which rises from boat deck to the landing pad for the helicopter. Depending on the deck level, the elevator can open to either the yacht’s interior or exterior.
The Oceanco PA122 helicopter landing deck has an air-conditioned telescoping helicopter hangar and a certified helicopter landing area forward. The full ship’s bridge with and impressive 270 degree visibility is also situated here.
Glass is featured prominently in the Nuvolari & Lenard design of the PA 122, both for function and aesthetics. As well as the elevator the design the bridge uses wings to aft to ease manoeuvring, which are made of glass.
This 120 metre Oceanco PA 122 superyacht design will be able to comfortably accommodate 4 owners and 24 guests, as well as 43 crew members.
The Nuvolari & Lenard designed Oceanco PA122 yacht is a motor yacht of huge proportions designed to resemble “a real ship” more than a superyacht due to its stature and composition. The forward areas of the superyacht look purposeful, as if designed for extended cruising. While the PA 122 is designed to effortlessly handle long journeys, she will also be built to offer the ultimate in luxury. The aft of the superstructure is designed for her guests and owners to relax in style with a swimming pool and large open spaces on each of her decks.
Oceanco’s PA122 superyacht will be powered by an environmentally responsible hybrid propulsion system, which will result in fewer emissions and ensure fuel consumption is kept to a minimum. Consisting of four different MTU engines, the engines, a PTO, PTI, and two E-motors will allow the PA 122 to reach speeds of up to 21 knots.
