Christopher Seymour, having only just opened his design studio, has started off big with a Luxury Explorer superyacht design called ALPINE measuring just over 122m (122.55m/408ft). Motor yacht ALPINE was designed with exploration in mind and she will be able to travel to the hot and tropical conditions of the Caribbean, or to the cold and isolated climate of the arctic regions.
The Expedition yacht ALPINE was designed to be able to take on most, if not all conditions that the weather throws at her with her high sides, while boasting a gorgeous sheer line and open flowing decks.
Motor yacht ALPINE will feature the main dining room, theatre, gym, library, and VIP suite on Deck One. Located on Deck Two above, will be the owner or special guest suite, which will also have access to the main helicopter pad. Deck Two will also house a more exclusive dining area, with a lounge and bar situated on the back deck overlooking the main pool area.
Deck Three of the ALPINE motor yacht design will host more living areas, with lounges on the outside deck, a second helicopter pad and the bridge. Deck Three will have further access to Deck Four, which is where another pool and sun chairs are located for further relaxing while enjoying the spectacular view.
The ‘Main Deck’ of this superyacht design ALPINE is located under ‘Deck One’ and will feature more guests cabins and the crew quarters. Luxury motor yacht design Alpine will boast a beautiful spiral stair case and a cylindrical glass elevator, which will enable access throughout all the decks.
Towards M/Y Alpine’s stern will be the two tender bays, the starboard side door will turn into a swim/dive plat form. The port side will fold up to help crane Yacht Alpines tenders into the water. She will have room for a RIB inflatable, small sailing tenders and a couple of jet skis. Designed Christopher Seymour has also penned a custom 36’ express sports fisher, which will be built by Lightning Yachts and will utilize the latest materials available. The custom tender can be set for cruising, with clever fold in sun beds, or setup for a serious day fishing tournament.
Explorer superyacht ALPINE’s propulsion will be delivered by diesel-electric engines, with approximately 6 x 2000kW gensets, which will power two Pod drive units, she will have an estimated top speed of around 18 knots, and estimated cruise speed of around 15 knots.
