The Chinese shipyard, IAG Yachts, signed the contract and laid the keel for the new 133-foot motor yacht Noblestar Terrazza 133 in July 2013. Scheduled for delivery in 2015, superyacht Noblestar Terrazza 133 boasts a unique use of balconies according to the buyer’s wishes.
IAG’s new buyer with the vision for the Terrazza is a Mid Western American. Along with the signing of an East Coast American last year for the first of the Noblestar series, and a Florida based American the year before with his purchase of the Primadonna 127 yacht, this places IAG Yachts deep into the American market in a time when many think yacht sales are slow worldwide.
The new Noblestar Terrazza 133 yacht at 133 feet is designed by Evan K. Marshall located in London, England, both for the interior and the exterior. The interior will spare no expense for quality and detail. The exterior styling is equal to some of the finest yachts in the world. The Naval Architecture is being performed by Axis Group Yacht Design out of Viareggio, Italy.
There is a special emphasis to enhance performance at fast displacement speeds in all sea conditions. The transoceanic range is significant. The addition of the stern thruster makes in port maneuvering and station keeping easy. The prop tunnels help keep the draft to 7 feet or less depending on fuel load.
The owner and his long time captain have great yachting experience between them so they were able to specify every key feature they wanted for a yacht that will serve both private and charter use. The 6 stateroom layout, the two owner arrangement, plus the four deck elevator, and the Transom lift are just a few of many unique design features. There are several fixed balconies in balanced locations to enhance the ambiance of the yacht as a whole.
IAG is also proud to announce the hiring of several veteran yacht builders from America and Europe to bring the latest and most innovative build practices to its expanding labor force. Quality construction methods including weight saving techniques such as resin infusion will make the IAG brand stand shoulder to shoulder with the best shipyards in the world.
