Marina Port Vell (MPV), positioned in the fantastic Spain yacht vacation destination – Barcelona and set to become one of the world’s most elite superyacht destinations and the pre-eminent home port in the Mediterranean, is honored to lend its support to the 14th Annual PYA Golf Tournament. This year’s event will take place at the Golf Grande Bastide, Opio, France, running on Friday, May 30.
Marina Port Vell is also a corporate sponsor of PYA (Professional Yachting Association); as a supporter of the golf outing, Marina Port Vell’s contribution includes the Men’s Longest Drive Hole and operation of one of two refreshment buggies.
Marina Port Vell also has a complete foursome competing. It includes Captain Luke Raubenheimer of the charter yacht POLAR STAR; Glyn Hutchinson of Icon Connect; Joan Gonzalez, Salamanca Technical Services Project Manager; and, Miles Wring, former Chief Officer of M/Y SEA. Norma Trease, Director of Salamanca Group’s Marine Division, will award prizes.
The itinerary for the day includes a 07.30 breakfast, 08.15 shotgun start and 13.00 lunch and awarding of prizes. Cost includes entrance fees, breakfast, greens fees, scoring and lunch: €95 for PYA members and sponsors; €105 for non members; and, €45 for lunch only.
