A government source spoke to the British newspaper The Telegraph and said that the Italian health ministry would be announcing the lifting of the five-day quarantine rule for visitors that can prove that they are ‘negative, vaccinated or immune’, such as with a Digital Green Certificate from within the EU.
Travellers from countries outside the EU such as the UK and US are also welcome to enter with proof that they do not carry the virus.
