Motor yacht DUTCH FALCON, from the Van der Valk shipyard captures the essence of her winged namesake, striking the perfect balance between strength, freedom and beauty. Her Horizon Blue hull and cool, considered interior are testimony to her design team and experienced owner, who took delivery of her recently.
Described by Head of Sales Yoeri Bijker as having “the kind of timeless aesthetic that has become somewhat of a signature for the Van der Valk brand”, this brand-new model in the shipyards award winning flybridge range will literally fly through the water. Her advanced propulsion system can achieve speeds of up to 25 knots – impressive for a yacht of her size.
Freedom and choice are in abundance both inside and out with deck spaces which include a spacious flybridge with dining and exterior helm station, 4.5m aft deck with al fresco dining table and sunbathing a plenty on the foredeck.
The interior showcases the work of designer Carla Guilhem and features soft curves in a cool palette of neutral tones and luxury finishes. The layout offers the ultimate in flexible accommodation both in the cabins and the main deck space which runs flush through from the bridge to the aft deck. The semi-open galley is forward to port adjacent to the dining area, while the aft space is occupied by the lounge and bar. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow light to flood in and glorious views to be glimpsed from every angle.
The lower deck has a wonderful open stairwell and inviting corridor leading into the four suites which can sleep up to eight guests. The full beam master is aft, a VIP forward and two twin/doubles amidships, all with well-equipped, contemporary ensuite bathroom facilities. There is a cosy crew cabin tucked into the bow with its own access down from the main deck.
No doubt, her lucky owner is excited to have taken delivery of the latest in their fleet which has included more than 20 yachts over the years.
