The 28.60m motor yacht SL94 by Sanlorenzo will have an official Americas Premiere at the upcoming 2012 Miami International Boat Show (MIBS), held in February 16-20. Awarded as the ´Best Boat of the Year 2011´, the stunning SL94 superyacht boasts both exterior and interior by the renowned Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski.
Sanlorenzo has a renowned reputation of offering an unrivalled level of customization. As a result, each and every Sanlorenzo Yacht is unique. The design of Sanlorenzo Yachts have an endless selection of options, such as the complete design layout, to the joinery style, to any wood species of choice.
The overall design concept for the new luxury yacht SL94 on display at MIBS, was one of “livable luxury”, which follows the interior designer’s mandate that “luxury is not about style or trends, it’s truly craftsmanship – a tradition of fine things done well”.
Luxurious, textural materials and fabrics form a warm, understated, neutral color scheme enhanced by the use of organic materials and tactile surfaces of this 4-cabin super yacht SL94. The superior level of craftsmanship of the Sanlorenzo yard is clear to understand as soon as you step aboard.
A magnificent focal point of the salon is the sculptural grid work of burnished hide leathers, laced with stainless steel accents, supported on a freestanding stainless structure.
This complements the well appointed salon furniture plan organized to promote perfect “livable luxury”.
The woodwork throughout the yacht is yet another “play” on textures with a unique style of hand carved walnut wood mixed with bleached oak.
The stonework onboard was designed to honor the natural beauty of ancient time-worn stones, by featuring a raw edge bar top and accents of linear carving in the master head.
Large scale, graphic artwork inspired by the feminine and abstract aesthetic of famed American artist Georgia O’Keefe, showcases the work of photographer Shelli Breidenbach. The sensuality of this collection is the perfect counterpoint to the strong, sleek lines of the interior of the yacht.
On the lower deck, Sanlorenzo offers absolute flexibility, allowing up to four cabins for eight guests. This yacht is such an example, with a full-beam master stateroom, and his and her heads aft; two twin-berth staterooms and a spacious VIP suite forward, all equipped with an ensuite head.
A beautifully outfitted crew space allows direct access up to the galley on the main deck.
Exterior spaces have been thoughtfully created to celebrate the tranquility of the cruising lifestyle and overall serenity of the sea. The beautiful cubic lines of the lounge furniture invite total relaxation. Dual purpose aft deck coffee tables, with their pull-out tray system, allows one to eat and relax simultaneously.
The flybridge lounge is without equal. This offers an enormous space, with wonderful socializing and dining areas. This has been made possible thanks to the innovative design layout, enabling storage of the tender within a generous Aft Garage.
All Sanlorenzo Yachts that are built for the Americas are all specifically designed from the very outset to be geared to the nuances of the region, such as the 60 Hz electrical power supply. The never-ending selection of materials and layout options are limited only by the owner’s imagination, ultimately bestowing complete personalization for each and every Sanlorenzo owner to indulge in their desires.
The new SL94 yacht reflects over 50 years of Tailor-Made customization, handcrafted Italian quality, and remarkable seaworthiness along with class-leading performance.
