Columbus Yachts is delighted to announce that their all-new 32m motor yacht Liberty will be presented in an exclusive preview at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2014. Superyacht Liberty represents a new collaboration with yacht designer Marco Casali – Too-Design Studio.
The Columbus Liberty 32 yacht is now under construction in Palumbo Group Naples Yard and it represents the first unit of a range of fast trawlers from 25 to 38 meters. The main concept is freedom.
– Freedom of cruising at your preferred speed. The hull combined with the multi award winning technology of Palumbo Hybrid System offers you the possibility of long cruises at 12 knots with low emission and consumption or fast journeys at more than 20 kn.
– Freedom of living and organizing wide flat spaces. Liberty range distributes the yacht volumes in a full new way. The yard reduced the heights by removing the upper deck, transformed in a huge free sundeck, and by offering a longer and wider hull. This goes all good for the quality at sea of the boat ( more stability and sea keeping) and offers wider planes for the arrangement. This planes should be considered as flat layers fully customizable by the client. For example the deck saloon area is fully flat with full height windows and is offered in different layout with or without galley on it. The bow area is studied for hosting tenders ( up to 6mt!) and toys with a front facing sofa but could be managed also as a free set up space for sunbeds, tables etc.
The interior design is following the Liberty name of the range. The space could host free furniture allowing each owner in expressing his own style.
– Freedom of feeling. The Liberty range is thought for those owners who loves to get close to the sea. This is clear not only for the huge glass surfaces but also for the open transparent beach area. Facing a big swimming platform it hosts a beach area that could have a dinette with American bar, a Spa or a Gym.
Over it there is the relax area, suspended as an island over the beach area with a pool, two sunpads and 2 modular sofas with a table up to 14 people. The sundeck area is designed with the same free spirit offering 2 different kind of shadings with or without T-top and free set up layout too. The main superstructure design is based on simple timeless lines exalted by the strong side fashion plates. An RPH version is also available.
For the lower deck the crew quarters could be with full galley or at bow with independent entrance. The guests cabins could be from 3 to 5 until 6 total ones with the Owner on main deck.
The Owner could be positioned in the aft part of the lower deck to emphasize the full beam area or in the main deck with the RPH option with full front view.
– Freedom of being unique. Each Liberty is customizable in layout, exterior and interior design.
Each Liberty is unique as every owner is.
