The new 32m motor yacht JANGADA 2 hit the water at Van Der Valk shipyard in the Netherlands. She is the largest raised pilothouse yacht in the custom-series line by Van Der Valk. Her delivery is scheduled June, right on time for the Mediterranean season. JANGADA 2 will be cruising along Cote d’Azur and will make her first official appearance at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
Designers Nick Top and Guido de Groot worked on the creation of the immaculate exterior and indoor spaces for the repeat clients. The VIP stateroom bathroom placed on the main deck for the purpose of using it by guests during the day without entering the cabin itself was one of the owners’ requirements. The functional area under the pilot house has been optimised by adding a spacious galley.
The interior styling is minimalistic with whitewashed European oak. The exterior dining area, sunbathing space and a smart bar are located on the flybridge deck under all-aluminium hardtop for shade.
The main deck aft features ample spaces with sliding doors leading to the lounge. The owner’s master suite is a full-beam size and includes his and her wardrobes and a private office area. Accommodation is offered for a total of eleven guests.
