Turkish shipyard, Mengi Yay, is presently working on the building of the new 36,5-metre motor yacht NB 89, beautifully penned by Ginton Naval Architects. Due to be launched in September 2014, superyacht NB 89 is under construction together with the 33,5-metre luxury yacht NB 88.
Construction of luxury yacht NB 89 started in July 2013. Being built as RINA class, the vessel will boast beautiful hull and superstructure, both made of wood. In the hull, 3 layers of cross coating were used. The keel, wale and posts of the boat were printed in epoxy-laminate system. All the used ply-woods have “marine” certificate.
The semi displacement yacht NB 89 will be able to reach the speeds of up to 24 knots, thanks to her design characteristics. She will be amazingly comfortable even at windy and wavy weather, with the effect of her form and stabilizer under her structure.
Accommodation aboard NB 89 yacht will be provided in one master cabin and four guest cabins. The master cabin will be lightened with wide glasses at the board side, so it is very spacious. The saloon will have a capacity to accommodate large guest communities. In addition, there will be a fully equipped kitchen on the main deck.
