New Zealand yard Yachting Developments is nearing completion of the 38.7m sportsfisher Hull 1015 – LANAKAI. Earlier this month (April 8) the hull and superstructure of the vessel were joined together, and the new sportsfisher is now in the final stage of construction.
Upon delivery, the new motor yacht will become the largest all-carbon sportsfisher in the world. She is currently being built for her very experienced yacht owner and a passionate fisherman. Her exterior design and naval architecture were developed by Michael Peters Yacht Design. Yachting Development’s in-house team is taking care of the interior, as well as structural engineering.
The Managing Director of Yachting Developments commented on the project: “It is always gratifying to see a project start coming together in its finished form and this transformational stage of the build of Hull 1015 is a tangible reminder of what a unique and exciting project this is. We are looking forward to her launch later this year.”
Motor yacht Hull 1015 is scheduled for delivery in Q3 of 2017.
