Cantieri Navali di Chioggia has presented the new 40m explorer superyacht concept Naucrates 130. Evolved from its predecessor the Naucrates 88, Naucrates 130 is developed on a larger scale to meet the needs of costumers who are looking to upgrade the ways of exploring the seas and oceans of the world.
Certified with the most rigorous construction and safety standards, the Naucrates 130 can tackle with comfort every sea condition. The beam length of more than 10m makes her incredibly stable even when the stabilising system is not operating. The aluminium and steel construction, slender forms, the design of the windows and the elaborated superstructure, maintain a graceful but modern and aggressive appearance. Green Yachts Studio has created the design with harmonic geometries that relate well to each other.
Unusual for the yacht of her size, the bathing platform is spacious and is accessible through the staircase, which also has a rather unique design. Tender and toys can be stored at the large tailgate, which can alternatively serve as a gymnasium, depending on owner’s preferences. Guests can enjoy the large infinity pool and relax in the spacious sunbathing area aft. When covered, this area can be used as a helicopter deck. From the bridge deck, a large umbrella slides out to cover the vast “C” facing lounge areas to hide from the sun or rain. The side falcon is made of structural tempered glass which provides shelter and allows to admire panoramic views.
The interior has plenty of natural light, including the lower deck, thanks to the slightly recessed full windows. The main deck is of significant size, with generous living room and dining area.
The high bow is one of the safety features, which allows the vessel to cruise in any sea conditions. A black frieze hides the area of manoeuvre and mooring of the bow and creates a sturdy design.
To guarantee excellent visibility to the captain and crew, there are two generous overhanging areas create the manoeuvring space alongside the wheelhouse on the upper deck. The flydeck features a simple design and accommodates a relaxation area, with a large C-shaped sofa area at the aft, a central bar area covered by a shaded canopy, and a bow area with free standing furniture.
Comfortable accommodation for ten guests provided in 5 cabins, including 3 VIP and two doubles. The interior design can be chosen by the owner, who can opt for working with designers suggested by the shipyard or have their own arrangements.
