Sunseeker has delivered superyacht ‘Jelana’ which is the third hull of their 40m superyacht range. The Sunseeker 40 metre yacht is the largest flagship yacht for the UK yacht builder as designed by the Sunseeker Yachts in-house design team. Motor Yacht Jelana after being delivered to the owner is going to cruise the Mediterranean this summer.
The M/Y Jelana yacht, like her sister ships TanVa and Chiqui, is a composite boat and is 40.05 m in LOA. The Sunseeker 40m was created using the successful 37-metre series as a base. The 40-metre yacht also offers the option of balconies on either side of the main deck saloon and on one side of the master stateroom, amongst other improvements and upgrades.
The other yachts in the Sunseeker 40 metre series: motor yacht TanVas was the first yacht launched back in 2010, and Chiqui was launched and delivered in early 2011. Yacht Jelana has a white exterior and further photos and information about her interior design are pending.
Interestingly Jelana is able to accommodate a maximum of 12 guests in 5 cabins. She has a master suite up on her main deck as well as two double bedded cabins and two twin cabins down on her lower deck. She can cruise at a top speed of around 25 knots and has a longer range of around 1500 nautical miles. Yacht Jelana is RINA classed and MCA compliant.
