JFA Yachts is happy to announce that the 43m motor yacht Axantha II has been selected as finalist at Showboats design Awards 2012. Designed by renowned Vripack, the Axantha II superyacht is a finalist in 2 categories: Exterior Design & Styling Award – Displacement Motor Yachts from 30 to 60m as well as Naval Architecture Award – Motor Yachts. The winners will be revealed during a gala evening in Monaco at the Monaco Opera House on June 22.
The luxury yacht Axantha II is by her shape and her profile thought for faraway destination. Her aluminium hull and superstructures, give her a moderate displacement which, combined with reasonably sized engine, allow her to reach a speed of 14.8 knots. A consumption of only 110 litres at 11.5 knots, offers 6795 miles autonomy, ideal for ocean voyage.
The interior layout and passengers flow intend to offer guests the enjoyment of all outdoor aft areas, i.e. the lounges and access to the sea. As for the forward part, it is dedicated for the crew and has direct access to the forward deck. This large and clear forward deck (or tender deck) enables the storage of two 5.6 meter ribs, perfectly equipped for one day expeditions.
JFA superyacht Axantha II, which amounts to no less than 340 square meters of interior arrangements, can comfortably accommodate eleven guests and eight crew members. The interior layouts are made in stained cherry wood, the floors, in either teak or douka, are accented by a wenge edge. Great care was paid to sound and vibration insulation, the sound levels measured in various zones attest to a extremely quiet boat.
Axantha II will also be present at Antibes Yacht show (12 – 15 April) and MYBA charter show in Genoa (30 April – 4 May).
