A contract for the 44m motor yacht AY54 was signed the last week of August, as proudly announced by the prestigious NZ shipyard, Alloy Yachts. AY54 superyacht is a spectacular, displacement vessel, developed by Sorgiovanni Design.
Luxury yacht AY54 will be the first yacht this customer and his experienced team have built with Alloy Yachts.
During the pre-contract time spent at the yard, the owner’s representatives were so impressed with Alloy’s strong management team, the well defined build processes and the advancements in 3D engineering that they knew Alloy Yachts would deliver exactly what the owner was looking for.
It will be the first time that Alloy Yachts have worked with the Sorgiovanni Design Studio. AY54 superyacht will have an interior designed by Justin Redman of Redman Whiteley Dixon. Delivery of the motoryacht is scheduled for late 2014.
Alloy Yachts currently have three yachts under construction: Only months away from launching is the AY44 superyacht, a Rene Van Der Velden designed expedition-style motoryacht.
In the early months of 2013 the Dubois designed luxury yacht Encore will be launched, for repeat customers who decided to upgrade their classic 1991 Dubois/Alloy sloop with a larger and more modern version.
Nearer the end of 2013 will see the second sailing yacht Mondango roll out of the yard. These repeat customers loved and missed the process of building their first Mondango so much they decided to come back to Alloy for another two years of exciting and satisfying construction of a new 57m Dubois designed Ketch.
