Superyacht MAVERICK, the first 44.3m (146′) Flexplorer 146 from Cantiere Delle Marche, has been launched in Italy with an audience including her new owners and their family and friends, plus the shipyard team involved in her construction.
Construction began in 2020 and the yacht features naval architecture by Hydro Tec with interiors from the renowned designer Francesco Paszkowski in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. Some of the innovative features include collapsible bulwarks extending to the cockpit with deck fittings positioned lower down on the swim platform. The design transforms the entire aft deck into a vast beach terrace of over 135sqm.
Generous accommodation across all three decks is perfectly configured for families and includes two owner’s suites, one on the upper deck – adjacent to a single guest cabin – and one on the main deck. On the lower deck there are a further four ensuite staterooms.
Tenders are launched using a custom-built carbon-fibre A frame which when not in use sits flush with the deck allowing ample space below deck for a large gym, sauna and dive centre.
She is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines and boasts a range of over 5,000 nautical miles. Her launch comes a matter of days since the launch of another Flexplorer 146, luxury yacht PAZIENZ.
