German yacht designers Mani Frers have created a new luxury trimaran concept measuring 46.7m/153ft – the 46M FRERS TRIMARAN – that is ready for production in composite materials with McConaghy at its facilities in China.
Featuring interiors by Design Unlimited which can be customised to suit each Owner, the accommodation sleeps up to 8 guests over four spacious en-suite cabins, with the Master suite on the top deck also benefiting from a private outdoor terrace accessed through glass sliding doors.
The three remaining guest cabins are placed on the lower deck, where the crew accommodation for four and facilities are also situated. In the stern, a transom beach club forms a space for guests to relax beside the water, and to port and starboard there is storage for tenders and plenty of water toys.
The concept shows generous alfresco living spaces and from the large fold-down swim platform two staircases sweep up to the main deck aft. The broad 11.25m/36.9ft beam is put to use in providing a large glass-sided spa pool surrounded by seating and sun loungers, while beneath the sundeck overhang a wet bar is placed in the shade.
The upper deck aft can be used as a touch-n-go helipad, and when clear there is plenty of room for outdoor exercise or additional furniture such as more sun loungers or an alfresco dining table. Farther forward, elongated sofas are placed along the sides, ending in a sunbed beside the glass sliding doors into the Master suite.
Her engines will produce a top speed of 29 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles.
Her asking price has been listed at $26,500,000 USD and currently, the pre-engineering, interior design and tank testing have been completed, thereby reducing the production time for a possible delivery date in 2021.
