Italian shipyard Baglietto has successfully delivered the 48M T-Line luxury yacht LION, known during construction as HULL #10233.
Built for a highly experienced Owner, 48m/157.6ft motor yacht LION is constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure for safe and comfortable cruising the world over. The exterior styling comes from renowned designer Francesco Paszkowski, and her bulbous bow gives her a sleek and aggressive appearance above the waterline while providing excellent stability and fuel efficiency in open seas. Floor-to-ceiling windows on the main deck and upper deck let the natural light pour in, highlighting the details in the natural materials selected by the Owner and Baglietto to style the interiors.
Amongst her outstanding features is a sundeck of 140m2/1,507ft2 with a large mosaic Jacuzzi fed by a waterfall as the centrepiece, a 46m2/495ft2 beach club with spa and gym, a crystal lift/elevator connecting the lower deck up to the sundeck, and lastly versatile modular accommodation which can sleep up to 12 guests, changing the lower deck layout to create 5, 4 or 3 en-suite cabins.
Balanced interior and exterior spaces offer guests plenty of options for entertainment and relaxation from day-to-day, and the winter garden alfresco dining setting on the upper deck aft ensures that luxury yacht LION uses space optimally during the shoulder seasons and less clement weather.
M/Y LION is installed with two MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines that grant a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots, at which she has a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles.
