Zuccon International Project has been commissioned by the prominent Ancona-based Italian shipyard CRN to design the 50m motor yacht TESEO concept, based on an existing platform for the Explorer category. The timeless, go-anywhere superyacht TESEO concept is a beautiful semi-custom explorer, destined for long sailing trips in all seas and weather conditions.
Reflecting on the principal challenge involved in the TESEO yacht project, Bernardo Zuccon, in charge of design at Zuccon International Project, said that “one key theme was definition of a flexible functional character capable of offering a variety of different opportunities for life on board, dynamic spaces that change with the needs of the person using the boat: a number of areas on various decks have been set aside to be transformed and adapted in response to potential differences in the requirements of clients who choose to interpret the product in a more traditional way – setting sail to experience everything the sea has to offer – without giving up all the comforts of a classic displacement vessel while maintaining the formal and volumetric features typical of the Expedition Yacht.”
Super yacht TESEO concept can be characterized by maximum flexibility in the distribution of space through different on-board layouts. In all of these layouts, there is a true command deck for the whole crew, which is entirely separate from the guest area, resulting in the perfect living conditions even on long voyages.
The main deck of TESEO superyacht concept hosts two tenders and a water scooter at the stern. Here, it is also possible to create a ‘tender bay’ thanks to little patios that can be opened up in the two walls to create a living area opening onto the beach club at the stern. The same space can also be used as a storage and diving area.
Luxury yacht TESEO concept spans over four generous decks. Here, the distribution of the cabins can also be varied considerably. In the first proposal, the main deck hosts a full-beam owners’ suite at the stern and the four guest cabins can be all found on the lower deck, leaving all the space on the top deck free for outdoor areas: a huge sundeck at the prow, a panoramic living area and a generous open deck at the stern.
The second accommodation solution aboard TESEO yacht concept is more unusual, with the owners’ cabin positioned on the lower deck together with two guest cabins, while the other two guest cabins can be found on the main deck. There is also an amazing indoor living area, intended for use as a balcony over the sea, with four sliding doors that can be used to unite it with the outdoor cockpit.
The third accommodation solution proposes to move the owners’ suite from the lower deck to the upper deck over a generous outdoor patio to the stern and an “al-fresco” panoramic dining area to the prow.
