Jim Robert Sluijter is pleased to present his latest 50m motor yacht Summer concept, representing a new superyacht conversion project. The main challenge was to convert the non-conventional proportions of the research vessel into a sleek looking modern yacht. Main features of the new 50m explorer yacht Summer concept comprise exterior staircases that define the exterior profile and brings the logical general arrangement as well as a beach club/relaxation area towards the bow of the yacht.
The eye-catching exterior lines emphasize the existing proportions of the new 50m Sluijter superyacht Summer concept. With their smooth surface treatment, the lines follow the integrated exterior stairs to the sundeck, which separate the routes of crew and guests logically. The owners’ area at the aft of the bridge deck provides a completely private aft deck for a romantic breakfast in the morning or some quality time during the day. For a private dinner, barbecue or spa, the owners’ space can easily be extended to a private sundeck by locking the door from the bridge deck lobby to the exterior stairs.
As the exterior lines continue up towards the sundeck dodger, a unique and impressive glass wall supports them, which emphasizes the distinguished proportions of the explorer yacht. The bridge wings of the Summer yacht concept are worthy of the name, as they actually look like they are floating.
The large sunbathing area at the foredeck of the 50m Sluijter yacht Summer concept is connected to the beach club by an elliptical glass floor and a circular staircase. These areas provide the perfect setting for an unforgettable party. The crew will be able to serve and not disturb guests in the beach club as they have a passageway below the beach club from the central staircase towards the crew area in the bow.
