The full service Naval Architecture company Brilliant Boats have released their new innovative 50m Sportfisherman superyacht concept which will be the first sport fishing yacht to be introduced into the superyacht market.
The Sportfisherman concept is a different approach to traditional superyacht designs. The 50m yacht resembles a sleek battleship rather than a traditional motor yacht however is designed to deliver a fast and efficient cruising experience while still being spacious and luxurious. She will feature expansive full length windows to make the most of natural light.
The sleek profile of the new 50m Sportfisherman yacht looks as if it was built for speed, yet she offers a relatively low fuel consumption and stability for a yacht this size able to attain speeds of 20+knots thanks to her twin 3000hp 16 cylinder diesels engines. An optional centreline turbine installation will allow sprint speeds of 45 knots, which would make the Sportfisherman the fastest private vessel on the water of this size.
The yacht is not solely designed for sport fishing as she has many amenities expected and any Superyacht such as a Spa Pool big enough for 8 guests on the foredeck with large sun pad areas and a generous space for dining or entertaining. Further forward, there is a touch and go helipad, and full beam tender garage that can house a pair of 25′ boats.
The aft cockpit can be converted into a beach club, featuring sofas and loungers, a staircase down into the swim platform with the passerelle able to double as a diving board.
The interior will feature an duplex owner’s suite, with a private main deck reception and sitting room. Further guest’s accommodation includes two VIP suites, two twin suites plus accommodation for 8 crew.
Brilliant Boats are in negotiation with shipyards in the Ukraine, with a vision to building this vessel and a 60m variant with hull and superstructure in titanium, which will offer a 30% weight saving over aluminum and unmatched corrosion resistance.
