Dutch shipyard Heesen has delivered the 50m/164ft luxury yacht BOOK ENDS, previously known as PROJECT SAPPHIRE and PROJECT 19850.
The all-aluminium semi-displacement motor yacht is described by the shipyard as ‘sporty yet elegant, providing her American Owner with an abundance of space inside and out for entertainment and comfort in a variety of climates. Among her amenities is a beach club, foredeck sunbeds and a Jacuzzi.
A draft of 2.2m/7.2ft will give access to the shallower waterways of the Mediterranean, Bahamas, Maldives and Seychelles, where the best anchorages await for water sports and sunbathing and outdoor lounging in seclusion.
The onboard accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite on the main deck and 5 guest cabins on the lower deck. A crew of 9 will grant first-class service throughout every cruise.
In terms of speed, M/Y BOOK ENDS cruises at 11 knots – at which she has a range of 3,100 nautical miles – and has a top speed of over 23 knots. She complies with IMO TIER III regulations for reduced environmental impact wherever she travels.
