Built in 1995 by Benetti, the beautiful classically-styled motor yacht SOLDAFIDE, previously known as charter yacht VIANNE was relaunched in May following an eight-month refit at the Lusben shipyard. She is now back with her owner with new onboard systems and new interior design with interior restyling by Yachtique of the Azimut|Benetti Group interior design division.
SOLAFIDE now has a fresh, modern look with exceptional performance, and improvement in efficiency when it comes to her onboard systems and engines, in addition to fuel consumption reduction and noise pollution.
The main works were concentrated on the interior of the yacht, in close collaboration with the owner and his wishes, retaining the yacht’s original beauty and overall Benetti style. The furniture and interior architecture have been kept, withholding the original oak wood punctuated by ribbed detailing and adding hand-worked raffia details.
The colour palette is natural, including a carpet in shades of ivory, hand-cut in order to create a pattern of waves. The walls have also been decorated with muted white and ivory tones, which are clad with fabrics and leather.
The master has also been refitted and includes a spacious bedroom area, a dressing room, a study and a beautiful bathroom with a double sink. Delicate coverings and fabrics have been used with raffia features and leather. The same set has been applied to the guest cabins on the lower deck, boasting alternating cotton and linen herringbone motifs in grey and powder blue.
The master bathroom and the VIP bathroom feature hand-selected slabs of Carrara Marble and are inspired by the existing ribbed finishes of the oak wood. The designers from Yachtique translated the decorative finishes with laser-cut rubbed finishes in the Carrara marble. The exterior decor now includes maritime design, including a two-tone chevron texturing in grey and white.
The refit also included the replacement of the lighting with low-energy LED technology, and improvements to the switch panels, current transformers and air-conditioning technology. There are also updates to the engine room systems, which incorporate zero-speed electric fin stabilizers by CMC Marine as well as new generators and engines.
SOLAFIDE is now ready to offer her guests even more comfort, standards and sustainability.
