Seattle-based shipyard Delta Marine has announced that it launched the 53.4m/175ft superyacht MLR (ex.PROJECT 174046) earlier this week. Jonathan Quinn Barnett designed the interior and exterior styling, with the Delta Marine in-house team producing her naval architecture.
Constructed with an aluminium hull and composite superstructure, M/Y MLR will have a shallow draft for navigating waterways and providing close beach access. In addition, a pair of 3,860 HP MTU diesel engines will power her through the water.
Her raked bow adds modern definition to a classic appearance, which is further enhanced by her metallic grey hull paint that shows brown tones at night from the glow of the warm interior lighting. Her clean white curving superstructure and extensive glazing across the decks ensure that light penetrates all floors for incredible views and natural illumination. Sizeable aft decks in addition to her sundeck and bow will give her generous room for guest facilities.
More information on the interior layout and luxury amenities installed has yet to be released by the shipyard.
