Dutch yacht designer, Robert Witzier, has proudly revealed a new 54-meter motor yacht design. The striking 54m RW superyacht design features curved flowing lines, with a sharp axe bow.
The 54m RW luxury yacht will have a light weight aluminium fast displacement hull which accounts for relatively low fuel consumption and good seakeeping characteristics.
D3 Applied Technologies have investigated the seakeeping characteristics of the 54m RW yacht and presented this in a paper at the RINA Conference: “Design and Construction of Super & Mega Yachts”, in Genoa last year.
The tenders are stored behind gullwing doors in the bow. A beach club is placed in the aft peak with easy access for guests. The owners area is situated on the upperdeck with private balconies on both sides and direct access to the private aft upperdeck. For the other guests onboard there are two cabins on the maindeck forward, each with a private fold out balcony, and two more cabins on the lowerdeck midships.
