Dutch shipyard AMELS has launched its latest LE180 superyacht of 55 metres Project 472 on 31st March, boasting exterior styling by Tim Heywood with elegant interiors by Laura Sessa. The vessel can sleep up to 12 guests in six cabins, with a crew accommodation for 12.
Due to be delivered in a few weeks, just in time for the summer season in the Mediterranean, the 55m Limited Editions offers such notable features as a 28-metre sundeck, a vast beach club, sauna, steam room and three fold-out balconies, in addition to a great selection of toys and luxury amenities to ensure not only comfort and relaxation, but also endless fun. The helipad allows easy access for the owner and guests from anywhere and can be converted into a guest area when not in use.
The 55m is powered by two MTU 16V2000 M70 Diesel engines of 1,308 hp each allowing her to reach a max speed of 15,5 knots, while at her economical speed of 13 knots she has a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles with a fuel capacity of 115,000 litres.
