From the Netherlands, Heesen Yachts have announced that 55m (180’5”) superyacht PROJECT VENUS has had her hull and superstructure joined – a major milestone in the construction of a superyacht.

She is the latest in the successful 55 Steel series with exterior design by Omega Architects and interiors from the team at Luca Dini Design and Architecture to complement her high quality Dutch pedigree.
Silvia Margutti, head designer at Luca Dini had this to say about the bespoke project. “The interior of VENUS has a strong, daring identity that can be pushed to audacity while remaining welcoming and comfortable. Having been conceived to allow the craftspeople of Heesen Interior to express their excellence in the finishes, reflections, and textures, the design thrives on contrasts and provides a unique harmony. This aspect plays an essential role in making Venus a unique project. Heesen is one of the few shipyards in the world to have its own in-house fine cabinet-making workshop, and we like to maximise the opportunity to work with these fine craftspeople!”

Venus sleeps twelve guests in six large staterooms with an owners’ apartment on the main deck forward, spanning 82 square metres and offering a secluded haven with direct access to a private veranda on the starboard side.

The three deck levels offer 252 square metres of outdoor spaces ideal for al fresco dining, entertaining and relaxation. The 110 square metres sun deck boasts a hard roof covering the bar and lounge area, plus a lounge setting and spa pool. The bridge deck aft is dedicated to the al fresco lifestyle with a flexible dining table and lounge which can be opened up to the sky lounge to create a huge entertainment space. The main deck aft terrace has comfortable built-in settees and connects to the swim platform via stairs on either side. The tender and toys are located forward on the main deck thereby freeing up the garage space for a 35 square metre beach club and wellness area featuring a sauna, day head and shower plus a fully serviced bar.

She is perfectly proportioned to offer the ultimate in luxury while still being capable of accessing charming ports and small bays, is supremely comfortable thanks to her stabilisers and has a range of 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13 knots.
Superyacht PROJECT VENUS is on track for delivery in Q2 2025.
