Following her September debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2021, luxury yacht MOON SAND (known as PROJECT 13800 during construction) has been successfully delivered to her Owner.
The 55m/182ft motor yacht features naval architecture from the shipyard and was built to a design by Bannenberg & Rowell, who also produced her interiors. Superyacht MOON SAND is based on the classic 1973 motor yacht CARINTHIA VI, the first major yacht designed by Jon Bannenberg and integral in securing the reputation of Lürssen as a major shipyard.
In recent years the majority of builds from Lürssen have been mega yachts over 100m/328ft and luxury yacht MOON SAND will return the shipyard to the 55m-75m (180ft-246ft) size bracket. Although smaller than previous builds, M/Y MOON SAND is no less luxurious: She features ‘museum-quality interior furniture pieces’ and a ‘fearless use of colours and textures’.
Spacious and visually clean outdoor areas can be found across the decks, offering a swimming pool on the main deck aft, alfresco dining facilities on the upper deck and sun loungers on the sundeck.
Luxury yacht MOON SAND is sure to provide an exceptional home on the water for her Owner for many years to come.
